Yeti Engines Ltd · UK platform in development

Yeti Engines logo

Building a new UK pet-insurance comparison platform.

Yeti Engines is being developed by Yeti Engines Ltd to support Yeti Compare and, later, approved partner-branded journeys for brokers, publishers, pet brands and affinity partners. Yeti Digital provides selected product, design and engineering support to the project.

Yeti Engines Ltd is the separate legal entity developing the platform. Yeti Digital provides selected product, design and engineering support and does not operate the consumer comparison service or carry on insurance distribution through this page.

What is being built

The planned engine behind Yeti Compare and future partner journeys.

The platform is being designed to coordinate quote requests, connect with approved provider routes, normalise product information, present comparison results and record the events required for reporting and oversight. The intended first live model ends at provider hand-off, with the customer completing any purchase on the insurer's or broker's website.

01

Contract-first engine

Typed, versioned interfaces are being developed to keep the customer-facing journey separate from provider connectivity and core comparison logic.

02

Isolated provider adapters

The planned architecture separates each approved provider connection so that integrations can be maintained without unnecessarily changing the customer-facing journey.

03

Partner-branded journeys

The product is being designed to support referral, co-branded and managed white-label routes once the relevant technical, commercial and regulatory approvals are in place.

04

Auditability and reporting

Structured event records and reporting interfaces are being developed to support attribution, operational review, reconciliation and regulatory oversight.

Planned technical approach

A controlled architecture built for reviewable growth.

The current architecture uses versioned schemas, typed interfaces, isolated provider adapters and structured event records. Resilience, monitoring, caching and reporting controls will be introduced, tested and evidenced as the platform progresses through development and approval.

Typed quote contracts

Schema-driven interfaces intended to keep quote requests and responses consistent and reviewable.

Provider adapter boundary

A defined integration layer intended to keep provider-specific behaviour outside the customer-facing application.

Normalisation and ranking controls

Explicit comparison logic designed to remain isolated, testable and subject to the required human and regulatory review.

Versioned event records

Structured records intended to evidence key journey, disclosure, result and provider hand-off events.

Reporting interface

A controlled reporting layer intended to support agreed operational, commercial and oversight requirements.

The intended partner model

A future UK platform for approved distribution partners.

Once the required provider, contractual, technical and regulatory approvals are in place, Yeti Engines is intended to support UK brokers, publishers, pet brands and affinity partners through referral, co-branded and managed white-label journeys - a journey designed for use within an approved regulatory and operating model. Availability, implementation scope and operating responsibilities will be agreed case by case.

Current development status

Yeti Engines is currently in development. This page does not provide insurance quotations, offer insurance, arrange insurance or make a live consumer comparison service available. Product capabilities, provider routes, implementation times and launch dates remain subject to development, testing, contracts and the required approvals.
